Doubletree Hotel
|
|
In the heart of Houston's business and financial district, the newly renovated Doubletree is a super place to stay. All the amenities you find in most of the better hotels (except the famous Doubletree chocolate chip cookies). However, they put Sony Playstations in every room, and they have brand new mattresses that are out of this world! Plus, they allow pets. The floor to ceiling windows create a wonderful view of the city, especially at night.Very romantic. The hotel is connected to the really cool downtown tunnel system, the Light Rail, and Allen Center and Heritage Plaza. Very near to museums, the theatre district, the Aquarium. And, if you are flying in, you can come into either airport. Valet parking can add up, at $20.00 a shot. But the Light Rail, and free downtown shuttle service, are readily available. Located at thecorner of Dallas and Bagby
