The Flying Fish
|
|
The Belltown fish house that shaped Seattle's take on Pan-Asian fusion is still a crowd pleaser. Our very favorite Chef, Chris Keff and her staff, bring you the most fabulous fare in pan-Asian foods - the dishes, the appetizers and the desserts are out of this world! A fantastic wine list to boot! Chris Keff also regularly cooks for and contributes to 'Fare Start,' a fantastic restaurant who trains homeless folks how to cook and has an excellent placement rate to boot! Great place to get a delicious meal after a show as they are open quite late.

The Hi Spot is a great breakfast or lunch place. They have green eggs and ham and the most amazing BLT's ever. Suggested by featured artist Kerstin Graudins. Featurd artist Julia Francis says, a super sweet eatery in a cool old house. Order the lemon poppyseed scone or a big cinnamon roll for an appetizer, and then try the Green Eggs and Ham, or the Cheese Baked Eggs.

Thaiku
|
|
For sensual and comforting food in a restaurant that has excellent service and decor, eat at Thaiku in Ballard.
Thaiku has a soup noodle dish(guay tiow tom yum) that I wish I could eat
everyday, or at least have the broth laying around to suck down at
whim. The soup is so deliciously spicy with a slightly sweet nutty
flavor. Try a specialty cocktail for herb/flower enhanced drinks that
claim to have aphrodisiac properties, warming hallucinogenic effects, or
just plain aid in digestion. They are super tastey, too!
This is now my favorite Thai restaurant in the city and I've eaten at a
lot of them.
NOTE: Live Jazz Wed. & Thur. Eve.
