An intimate, upscale Contemporary American restaurant with a small, elegant bar and an extensive wine list 'Annisa', Arabic for 'women, offers contemporary, elegant dining with an adventurous spirit. Chef Anita Lo has been named one of ten "Best New Chefs in America" by Food and Wine magazine as well as "Best New Restaurant Chef" by the Village Voice. If you love great wine, Annisa is one of your best bets when traveling to New York. Annisa's wine list was created by French born Roger Dagorn, one of only 97 certified Master Sommeliers in the world. Wines are mostly from female vintners or from wineries with female proprietors. Reservations strongly recommended.
